We are currently seeking a talented and hard-working Tax Manager to work in our Accounting and Finance Department. This position will require attention to detail, great organizational and analytical skills. Overview of Responsibilities:
Assist Firm's management with compiling, analyzing and organizing financial data.
Tax Compliance
Work with Accounting Firm to prepare and coordinate work papers for the firm's form 1065 and other federal/state tax forms.
Analyze major Schedule M items.
Calculate depreciation for various jurisdictions (i.e., federal, state, AMT).
Calculate estimated taxes due and coordinate payment of estimated tax vouchers for composite returns and for partners who do not join in the composite return.
Coordinate the preparation of the firm's investment partnership tax returns.
Prepare state and local tax returns including sales and use tax, property tax, occupancy tax, gross receipts tax, etc.
Calculate Federal and State withholding tax payments required for foreign partners.
Coordinate and track administrative data for tax return (new partners, retiring partners, partner addresses, state elections, partner social security numbers, and partner percentages).
International Partnership Income Tax Return
Prepare work papers for the UK and Belgian partnership income tax returns.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Detailed knowledge of accounting principles for partnership financial statement and tax reporting.
Familiarity with tax software such as Fastax or other similar commercial tax software.
In-depth knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word as well as experience using SQL and/or MS Access a plus.
Ability to adopt a client-service type approach while acting as a team player within the accounting and finance department.
Attention to detail in preparing reports and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to manage simultaneous multiple tasks and set priorities in line with the goals of the Firm.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing less than 50 pounds.
Required Experience:
Bachelor's and Master's degree, CPA.
Minimum of 5-10 years' progressive law firm industry and/or "Big 4" Firm public accounting experience performing federal, state and international tax work.
