Assist in preparing financial statement disclosures and reviewing financial statements for external distribution; facilitating the external audit process; perform special projects, research, and analysis as needed. Candidate must have external reporting, 10Q, 10K, SEC Reporting experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


1.Assist in coordinating external audit activities including monitoring
deliverables, assisting in obtaining audit requirements, and responding to audit inquiries.

2.Assist in researching, analyzing, and documenting impact of adjustments to the financial statements.

3.Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly and annual audit requirements.

4.Assist with the review of financial statements for quarterly and year-end external reporting requirements.

5.Assist in the preparation of financial statement disclosures for year-end external reporting requirements.

6.Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications


1. An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.

2. Minimum of three to four years accounting experience preferably in energy. Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.

3. Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills are necessary; attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills are critical to this position.

4. Strong initiative, leadership skills and results-oriented; self-starter able to work autonomously and in a team environment

5. Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and meet required deadlines. Must be willing to work overtime as required at various times during the year in order to meet deadlines and job requirements. Apply professional judgment and experience in making recommendations.
