The position is responsible for leading continuous organizational regulatory readiness and the integrity and compliance program. This position has a comprehensive understanding of Joint Commission, DOH, CMS and DSHS standards/regulations and facilitates compliance with standards/regulations and serves as the organizational contact with Joint Commission, DOH, and CMS for regulatory compliance. Chairs the Regulatory Readiness, Patient Safety and Interdisciplinary Policy and Procedure and Forms Management Committees and is responsible for leading teams and committees to further patient care and patient safety.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with Bachelors Degree in nursing or related field. Masters Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a closely related field preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Current Washington State RN license.

Experience: 5 years of recent clinical nursing experience in hospital acute care. Recent managerial experience preferred, with proven ability to lead and influence change. Experience with Joint Commission standards, state and federal regulations, and compliance. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to organize and manage competing priorities. Project management and/or team facilitation, public speaking, adult education, policy development and analysis desired. Knowledge of patient safety and process improvement principles desired.

Equipment; Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet required.

Skills: Excellent verbal, presentation and writing skills required.
