Escendent, a full service professional services firm is seeking a Lead Java Developer for our client which is located in Washington DC, area. This is a contract position, 6 months to start. As long as your performance is strong, contract extension beyond 6 months is very high (this project is slated to go through 2011).
Note: U.S. citizenship required and you must be able to successfully complete a Federal background investigation (no sponsorship available).
Position Synopsis
The Full Service IMD Developer Lead will serve as a delivery Consultant and his/her responsibilities will include:
• Developing an understanding of the existing Full Service IMD requirements and functional design
• Overseeing development of Full Service IMD mobile windows utilizing C#, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server
• Overseeing development of Full Service Server code utilizing JAVA, Hibernate, Websphere, SQL, Tomkat, Eclipse, JDBC, IBM MQ, Jibx
• Supervising, managing and working in conjunction with build team to meet team objectives and responsibilities
• Participating in deliverable acceptance meetings and documenting changes to deliverables as specified by the client
