The Nurse Practitioner functions operationally under the Administrative Manager in direct collaboration with the Medical Director of Non-Invasive Services. The Nurse Practitioner coordinates and performs exercise and pharmacological stress test according to set protocols. The incumbent of this position will possess the skills to perform accurate assessment of patient's response to pharmacological stress testing including appropriate follow-up to physician. The duties and responsibilities of this position will be performed according to standards outlined in the competency based/evaluation tool. The Nurse Practitioner will support the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Initiatives of Our Facility's Health System and must demonstrate a commitment of quality services to our patients, the public and our co-workers.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible.
2. Masters degree in nursing and current Virginia state certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiovascular Services.
3. Five-year nursing experience to include 2 years in appropriate specialty.
4. 2 years ICU experience preferred.
5. Successful completion of pre-placement employment evaluation
