Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for a full time permanent opportunity with a leading LED Lighting company in Satellite Beach, FL.

Competencies:
Candidates should have experience with injection molding, machining, stamping, extrusions, prototyping, documentation, and design for manufacturability.


Requirements:
* B.S. – Mechanical Engineering
* MUST have LED, Lighting, SSL and outdoor Luminaire background with significant lighting industry experience to be considered a viable applicant
* Potential of leading ME function– a working leader, not a pure manager
* 3D CAD modeling/drafting skills that enable efficient product development, strong Spreadsheet skills
* LED fixture, or lighting fixture design
* Experience with UL standards, Temperature Junction, Die cast standards
* FEA Simulation: Structure, thermal, CFD
* Multi tasking, scheduling, and project management
* Architectural drafting or building experience
* Machining (mill or lathe), or other fabrication experience
* Generating mechanical assembly instructions
* Optical design, modeling or simulation
* Thermal measurement/experimentation

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, frequency distribution, and proportions to practical situations. Exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
