Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Electrical Engineer for a full time permanent opportunity with a leading LED Lighting company in Satellite Beach, FL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are comprised of design and development of electronic control systems driving LED light sources for various lighting applications. Electrical design entails analog / digital design, LED / driver interface study and EMI & thermal consideration. Contribute to cross functional project team composed of electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to develop products from concept into production. Other duties may be assigned.

* Designs schematics and overall wiring plans
* Prepares PCB layouts & generates manufacturing files
* Researches and specifies components
* Performs product performance testing
* Prepares product, manufacturing and test documentation
* Develops new products
* Provides engineering support

Required:
* BSEE / MSEE
* 5-8 years digital /analog / power electronics design experience
* MUST have LED, Lighting, SSL and outdoor Luminaire background with significant lighting industry experience to be considered a viable applicant
* Competent with standard electronic engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
* UL knowledge
* Die Cast standards
* Knowledge of LED thermals
* LED fixture experience
* AutoCAD
* PCB schematic capture & layout tools (PCAD preferred)
* Soldering: assembly / modification of electronic boards
* Familiar with Temperature Junction
* LED driver design experience
* EMC / regulatory experience
* Simulation tools (MCAD / SPICE)
* Magnetics
* Control loop analysis
