Adecco Engineering & Technical, the world leader in staffing and recruitment of engineering and IT professionals has an immediate "full-time employment" opening for a Senior Flash Actionscript Programmer located in Sunnyvale, CA.

The senior developer must know Actionscript 3.0 and understand Flash technology. This is a key position in the Rich media group.


The ideal candidate will develop key software related to video broadcasting and viewing, and for instant messaging rich media content applications. The work is all project based and allows for significant career growth. All apps are in use with hundreds of thousands of users so they are all critical and bleeding edge. The work is heavily video based, and involves heavy interaction with server side technologies like Adobe Media Server and Java Servers.


Work in a small team with very knowledgeable Flash engineers that have significant experience with developing Flash apps. This is the position if you want your code to have maximum impact and to be used on heavily trafficked web sites. The work is fun and engaging. We are looking for someone who loves to code and works well with others.


Job Requirements:
* MUST HAVE 4+ years experience of all requirements below.
* Must have expert knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and Object Oriented Programming.
* Hands-on experience on Client-Server applications.
* Thorough experience with dynamic, interactive content in Flash 7 or later versions.
* Familiar with Flash Remoting Server, Flash Communication Server and Socket Server.
* Successful track record of compatibility, detection, and optimization techniques with Flash & Adobe products.
* Online game programming is a plus.
* Ability to interface well with Flash/Traditional Graphic Designers for look and feel and traditional Engineers for back-end logic/content conversion.
* A hungry design/development mind who wants to push the envelope with Flash technology.
* Samples of professional interactive Flash development - Internet accessible.
* Knowledge of Flex, Java, php, or Perl is a plus.
* Comfortable with adult content.
