Responsibilities:

· Provide technical information as necessary to produce complete proposals to comply with clients' communications needs, including, as required:
· Network Design, Diagrams and Equipment Layouts
· Equipment Lists
· System Technical Description
· Network Management Technical Description
· Service Technical Information/Description

Interface with clients as required to gather all necessary information and promptly provide updates to all relevant personnel of any issues pertaining to the Sales/Project situation.

· Work with client executives and staff to document the current LAN/WAN infrastructure, understand the requirements to support a converged solution and make infrastructure upgrade recommendations.

· Perform workshops and meetings to understand the telephony requirements based on their current needs and new features required from the new solution.

· Perform vendor product fit/gap analysis based on client requirements

· Develop high-level design, hardware list, and budgetary pricing.

· Conduct meetings or workshops to develop low-level design, project plan, and final pricing.

· Conduct internal technical forums, as stand-alone activities, or as part of a specific training course, for both internal staff and clients, as deemed necessary by the manager

· Provide leadership and mentoring for less experienced consultants



Technology expertise:

· 3-5 years experience with Cisco Call Manager, Unity or Contact Center
· Cisco certifications in the following: CCNA/DP/NP or CCIE, CIPT, DQOS, EVODD, IPTT, CVOICE.
· Certifications desirable: Wireless networking technologies (802.11 a/b/g) Assess, design, implement.
· Knowledge in network routing and switching design and operations especially for LAN and IP/MPLS based-services
· Packeteer or Juniper (Peribit) skills a plus
· Avaya and Nortel voice product knowledge a plus (including IPT and legacy TDM PBX)
· Knowledge of application performance tools a plus (Opnet, Compuware NetVantage, etc.)
· Knowledge in WAN Optimization and Performance Management especially on features such as Service Level Management (SLM) and Application SLAs

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

· 3-5 years experience with a consulting organization focused on Fortune 1000 organization
· Excellent Inter-personnel and communication skills, including high level presentation skills to board level executives
· Experience leading virtual teams of presales, consulting and project management within a matrix and geographically spread environment
· 5 years minimum experience hands-on Cisco configuration work in the LAN and WAN environments.
· Excellent Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. Expert in Telecommunication services and products. Able to work in a matrix environment on a number of different projects, process oriented

Compensation: $144K
