Ideal candidate has packaging engineer experience.
Our client, a 60 year old manufacturer of thermoform plastics, seeks a motivated sales person for an established territory. Sell packaging systems to automotive industry from Detroit to Buffalo. Features the latest innovations in load securing technology.

Client offers additional services of material handling systems, and engineering services.

A connection with heavy truck, farm equipment and other large (in size) product markets (mostly OEM) helps. Travel approximately 40-50%. Travel is one week monthly in Canada. Tuesday through Thursday on road, normally 1-2 nights weekly away. Annual goal is 3 million although many in company do 6 or 7 million annually at 1% commission. Clients are OEM, tier 1,2,3 automobile suppliers and design firms.

Looking for person to be the door opener of new accounts in addition to handling existing ones. Degree not essential. Reports to VP Sales.

Current rolodex helpful, not mandatory. Car allowance and benefits furnished. Virtual office in Detroit is necessary. Territory open for two months due to resignation.


Compensation: 60-80K
