Contract pharmaceutical testing laboratory in Central New York State is seeking an experienced Scientist to develop bioanalytical methods for the quantitative determination of pharmaceuticals using LC/MS/MS techniques, and to evaluate scientific processes to ensure successful method transfer and validation. Will independently develop reliable extraction, chromatographic and mass spectrometric procedures for complex analytical methods. Prepare and present project data and supporting information, contribute to and review technical reports, perform advanced data interpretations and troubleshooting, and communicate with clients and work within a scientific team environment.

BS Degree minimum in Chemistry or related Science with three or more years of relevant experience required. An advanced set of skills integral to bioanalytical LC/MS method development is also required. Knowledgeable in organic chemistry, chromatographic separations, mass spectrometry, and bioanalytical extraction techniques is preferred. Experience in a GLP quantitative analysis laboratory and affiliation with professional institutes and organizations are also highly preferred. This is a direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid relocation assistance.
