Tax Partner - is your firm investing in your future or theirs?

I have been engaged by a large, multistate firm, (but not one of the national Big 4) to locate an audit (or tax) preferable partner level professional in the Miami area due to an upcoming retirement.( This client also needs a Tax Partner in Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Boston and NYC) We are hoping to find someone with strong business development skills. A book of business is not required but a record of success is.. Experience in Big 4, a Larger Regional or National Firm is highly preferred.
