Network Specialist III

Our client is currently seeking a Network Specialist.

Ideal candidate will plan and evaluate all phases of highly complex voice/data network architecture and recommend resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels.

Essential Job Functions: (Not Limited to)
• Maintains network hardware and systems.
• Provides first line technical support on data networks for internal and/or external customers.
• Installs and maintains network facilities.
• Assists in the design and implementation of various LAN/WAN networks.
• Performs data network configurations and configuration changes.
• Prepares basic proposal documentation and information to meet customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in data networks.
• Experience working with current LAN/WAN systems and technical infrastructure communication issues.
• Experience working with current network systems and networking principles (Hardware and Software).
• Strong experience with Cisco LAN/WAN equipment.
• Willingness to travel.
