This is a newly created position that will be in charge of creating and sustaining SAP security architecture for a segment of a publicly traded company producing innovative process equipment, diagnostic tools and helping to develop global infrastructure

The role of the Security Manager is to coordinate and lead the SAP security function within Business Unit and to be able to design or enhance the security architecture with an understanding of applying best practices within the organization. Requires the ability to understand business processes and understand segregation of duties requirements. The role will also be responsible for leading and supporting the 3rd party integrations with SAP from a technical architecture perspective.
Liaises with:
- Global SAP Key Users (Departmental Leads and Business Process Owners)
- SOX Compliance Managers at all sites
- Corporate Internal Audit and External Auditors, as needed.
- 3rd Party vendors (including consulting companies) on critical issues
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of security and technical analysts (contractors and employees), responsible for supporting SAP Security and 3rd Party integrations
- Provide project management and implementation guidance, training and support for Global SAP Security Initiative (with VIRSA GRC)
- Perform Business process analysis, blueprinting, security design, Segregation of duties analysis, and work across other teams.
- Design security Strategies, Standards, procedures and solutions for SAP environment with components like ECC, BI, EP, Solution Manager
- Interact closely with the Business in designing the roles and meet the business requirements without compromising SOD requirements Coordinate with the Business Process Owners from multiple sites globally, and the Global SAP Team leads for Unit Testing, System Testing and Regression testing on any security changes
- Interact with Internal and External Auditors and meet all the compliance requests and requirements.
- Coordinate with Basis team (as part of the Global Information System) on any technical requirements
- Responsible for supporting and implementing technical integrations of global 3rd party applications (like Vertex, Kewill, SEAL etc) with SAP
Minimum Requirements:
- BS Degree in Information systems or a relevant field
- At least 7 years IT or equivalent business experience, including at least 5 years SAP Basis/Security experience, which should include multiple Security implementation projects
- Full project cycle implementation experience with SAP GRC, VIRSA Role Expert & VIRSA Access Enforcer, Access Control
- Full life-cycle Implementations with experience on SAP Security Best Practices, Segregation of Duties and SOX
- Strong Communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Travel Requirements:
- May require 25% travel to plants within and outside the US
Compensation: Base Salary Estimate: $110,000 - $140,000 + $15,000 target bonus and equity/stock
