Senior Web Developer - CONTRACT LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Position Summary:
As a CONTRACT Senior Web Developer you will primarily be responsible for interfacing with other Developers and the Executive team to create the dynamic websites and other applications that will ultimately drive or create business on a project-by-project basis. In this role your task will be to develop conceptualized sites and products from designs, storyboards and work flow diagrams. In order to ensure that technical resources are allocated correctly, Senior Web Developers are expected to be able to create useable prototypes based on pre-generated Photoshop mockups and be able to answer all pertinent questions regarding said designs.

Our Requirements:
•Applicants must have 3+ years experience in backend scripting using Ruby on Rails
•You should be able to demonstrate “hands on” experience using MySQL, Ruby on Rails, HTML, DHTML, Javascript and XML to develop innovative and useable n-tier websites.
•Experience incorporating current multimedia content standards for video and audio into effective web design
•Development and utilization of search technology within a website
•Professional or personal accomplishments that reflect self-motivation, initiative, independence, and a strong customer service orientation.
•Ability to work on tight time lines and consistently meet project deadlines.
