Seeking a polished, driven IT Business Development and Sales Professional to stimulate growth in new markets. We are looking for a Rock Star!

As a Business Development Representative, you are part of an integrated sales team providing exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for increasing revenue and generating new customer buying accounts. Your focus will be to drive consulting and programming business as well as make sales campaigns for specified products. Local travel is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prospect, cold call and develop new business relationships/customer accounts via a geographic region.
· Manage monthly appointment activity and sales calls
· Provide consultation to customers regarding the purchase of both software products and consulting solutions.
· Educate customers on the value and necessity of our products/services
· Present and market our line of products/services
· Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
· Attend product training as required
· Maintain a stellar relationship with peers, management and sales team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· 5 years + of sales experience .
· University degree (BS or MS Degree).
· High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills .
· Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills .
· Ability to work both individually and in a team environment .
· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office tools - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Open Office & Lotus notes is a big plus.
· Experience with a CRM (Goldmine, Salesforce.com, or sugarCRM).
· Previous experience working for a Technology or Consulting firm required.
· Experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred.
· Experience selling to Manufacturing, Supply chain related, Healthcare, or High tech also a plus.
